When purchasing a piece from Thomas Michaels Designers we are more than happy to supply a detailed appraisal for insurance purposes reflecting all pertinent technical information and replacement costs in the event of a loss, reflected at suggested retail prices. These appraisals are supplied at no cost.

When restyling your existing gemstones into our award winning designs we highly recommend that you request us to appraise the completed piece, including an additional assessment of gemstones supplied to us. Independent laboratory gem grading assessments resulting in the issuance of a gem certificate are available upon request.

We are also more than happy to supply a legal appraisal of your antique or contemporary fine jewelry for insurance purposes.

We offer independent gem grading certificates, on request, for any diamonds or colored gemstones that we may supply or gems that you ask us to design with; from such international recognized laboratories such as:

Even if you have purchased a diamond elsewhere we are happy to grade and verify quality by forwarding your piece for laboratory analysis allowing for complete appraisal for insurance purposes. The charges involve depend on the number, type and sizes of stones. Information concerning additional appraisal costs will be forwarded to you upon specific requests.
